Morning performances starting at 10:15 am are available for field trips at a special group rate. All performances will be at the Maitland Civic Center, 641 S. Maitland Avenue, Maitland, where the auditorium can seat 250, and there is plenty of free parking for cars and buses. Performances last approximately one hour. The group rate is $8.00 per child and chaperone for groups of 10 or more children. Teachers are free. We Will Come To Your School!
Florida Children's Repertory Theatre will tour both plays to schools in Orange and Seminole Counties. The shows are exactly the same as those at the Maitland Civic Center, complete with colorful costumes and sets and music. We can perform on a stage, in a gym, or in any room that is large enough to accommodate the playing area and the audience.
We will bring the complete show - from costumes to scenery - everything for one flat fee and perform in whatever appropriate space you have! Fill the space with as many children as possible! Schools can choose the starting time and we can even do two shows in one morning. We do not tour in the afternoons. Rates for in-school performances are $600.00 for one performance and $1,100.00 for two performances on the same morning. Use our easy on-line form or call 407-657-4483 for reservations. Tickets and Reservations
Treat your students to a performance of live theatre! Performance times are in the schedule below. The Maitland Civic Center can seat 250 and is handicapped accessible. There is plenty of free parking for school buses and cars.
RESERVATIONS. Call 407-657-4483 to make reservations, pick one of the programs described above, include the approximate number of children and adults expected to attend, dates desired, and the name and number of the contact person. Always have an alternate date for your function. FOR ALL PROGRAMS PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE MAITLAND CIVIC CENTER FOR RESERVATIONS.
TICKET PRICES. Tickets for groups of 10 or more children are $8.00 for children and accompanying adults - teachers are free. Smaller groups or individuals are $9.00 per child and $12.00 per adult. We require 50% of the anticipated total of reservations to be paid 30 days in advance of the performance date. This will secure reservations. We cannot hold reservations until we receive your check. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. The remaining 50% will be due at the performance. At this time groups can adjust the number of attendees, as the remainder may not total 50%. If additional people wish to attend the play after the second check is written, they will be welcome and can pay at the door at the group's rate.
